INTRODUCTION TO SCUBA:

The PADI Discover Scuba Diving course is an introduction to scuba and requires approximately 2 1/2 hours to complete. The student begins in the classroom where they will view a video and learn about basic dive theory and equipment. Next they enter into shallow water to learn and practice basic dive skills. Once comfortable with the skills, they will continue on with their instructor to complete a dive over a shallow coral area. It is a very fun and exciting course. The price person is $105.00 US and includes all equipment.

OPEN WATER DIVER CERTIFICATION:

The Open Water Diver Certification course requires a minimum of 4 days to complete. The time spent with the instructor per day is approximately 4 -5 hours. The course includes dive theory, shallow water skills practice and open water diving. Each day the course will be divided into classroom time where the student will learn about dive theory and equipment and water time where the student will learn and practice the required dive skills. On the last two days of the water portion, four open water Scuba Dives will be completed. Once all requirements are met, the student will receive a Scuba certification valid worldwide. The price of the course is $550.00 US per person and includes books, equipment and certification fees.  The Junior Open Water Diver Certification is available for children of 12 -15 years of age.

OPEN WATER DIVER REFERRAL:

An Open Water Referral refers to the Open Water Training Dive portion of the course. The classroom and confined water sessions can be completed at your local dive center and the Open Water Training Dives can be completed here in Cozumel. This course requires two half days to complete and can be booked either morning or afternoon. You will need to bring along a Student Referral form from your original instructor. The price of this course is $330.00 US and includes equipment.

E-LEARNING – OPEN WATER DIVER CERTIFICATION:

A student may take the theory portion of the  PADI Open Water Diver Course on-line (www.padi.com), this is called  “E-Learning”.  The  student needs to complete the entire theory course including quizzes and  exams.  When all requirements are completed successfully the program will  allow the student to print out an E-Learning Record (which functions like a Student  Referral Form). The student must bring  the E-Learning Record along with them so we may allow the credit for the theory portion completed on-line. You will need to complete the confined water portion and the open water  dives.  This can usually be completed in 3 days.  The rate to complete the course is $480.00 US

SCUBA REVIEW:

This course reviews and updates diving knowledge and skills. The class takes approximately 2 1/2 hours and reviews basic dive theory, equipment and dive tables. In the water you will do a Scuba Skills review and complete a dive with the instructor working on skills and buoyancy control. The price per person is $105.00 US and includes equipment.

ADVANCED OPEN WATER DIVER CERTIFICATION:

The PADI Advanced Open Water Diver course requires a minimum of 2 days to complete and consists of five dives. Two are required dives (Deep & Navigation) and three are elective dives such as Drift, Boat, Multilevel, Naturalist, Search & Recovery, etc. This course includes two days of 2-tank boats and one beach dive. The price of the course is $550.00 US per person and includes the books, equipment and certification fees.

The Junior Advanced Open Water Certification is available for children of 12 – 15 years of age.

RESCUE DIVER CERTIFICATION:

The PADI Rescue Diver course consists of knowledge development and open water training. The course requires a minimum of 3 days to complete.

Course prerequisites: (must show certification card or diploma)

  1. certified as an Open Water Diver
  2. certified as an Advanced Open Water Diver
  3. completed a CPR/First Aid course within the past 2 years.

The price of the course is $ 475.00 US and includes books, equipment and certification fees.
The Junior Rescue Diver Certification is available for children of 12- 15 years of age.

DIVEMASTER CERTIFICATION:

The PADI Divemaster Course takes 7- 10 days to complete and consists of knowledge development and practical experience.

Course Prerequisites: (certification cards or diplomas required)

  1. Certified as a PADI Advanced Open Water Diver or equivalent
  2. Certified as a PADI Rescue Diver or equivalent
  3. Proof of CPR or first aid training within the past 3 years
  4. 18 years of age or older
  5. Must be in good physical condition for diving & submit an approved medical exam form for a diving-medical conducted within the past year.  (If diver would like to complete the medical with their own doctor, an approved medical exam form can be provided)
  6. Have completed and logged at least 60 dives. (Log book must be shown)

The course includes the Divemaster Training package.

SPECIALTY COURSES:

Drift Diver: 1 day, 2 boat dives.
Rate: $ 290.00 US per person.
Must be Open Water certified.

Boat Diver: 1 day, 2 boat dives.
Rate: $ 290.00 US per person.
Must be Open Water certified.

Deep Diver: 2 days, 4 boat dives.
Rate $ 490.00 US per person.
Must be Advanced Open Water certified.

Nitrox Diver: 1 day, theory only course.
Rate: $250.00 US per person.
Must be Open Water certified.
